Change the Date

Updated: Jun 23

When I started thinking about my 50th birthday party, nearly 10 years ago, who would have imagined we would be in the middle of a global pandemic. As the date inches closer, even as a lot of the country is beginning to open up and get back to some sort of normalcy, there are a lot of people, myself included, that prefer to take baby steps getting back to our regular routine. As such, I have decided that it would be in everyones' best interest that I postpone my party for a year.

Because the hotel won't reserve any space more than a year out, they won't officially confirm my new dates. But the dates I am looking at are September 17-19th, 2021 or September 24-26th, 2021. Once these dates (or alternative dates) are confirmed, I will send out an official "Change the Date" announcement. In the meantime, I hope you all are staying safe and being smart. And I look forward to celebrating with you in another year for Hawaii 51!!!

In the meantime, if you have hotel reservations for the original dates, you should not have been charged when you made them as hotel policy is to charge you 14 days prior to arrival. That said, please cancel your reservation now, so you do not get charged accidentally. You can make a new reservation for the new dates once I send out the revised details.
